My Simply Be Sale Favorites

I was so impressed with the jumpsuit that I got from Simply Be for my grad ball that I just had to have another look online because I need an outfit for my Graduation. Also they have a sale on at the moment so how could I resist. Delivery was fast, I orders on Monday night and the package was delivered Thursday morning. I thought this was pretty good timing considering I only paid for standard delivery.

Red Ruffled Dress – AX PARIS Curve

I love the colour of this dress, I tend to stick to darker colours such as navy and black but I thought I would push myself and try something different. I was unsure about the neckline on this dress but I always think that you can never tell if a garment looks good until you try it on. It can look great on the model but not suit you and vice versa. This is one of the times I got lucky and the dress did look good on. My only issue is the high neck of it, because I have a bit of a double chin I’m always conscious of that. So having such a high neckline I feel like it draws attention to that part of my body that I am not so comfortable with.

Lace Insert Grey Dress – Simply Be

This dress is one of those ones that looks super cute on the model in the photos but didn’t really do anything for me once I had tried it on. Which is a shame because I thought it looked really nice and I wish it had been right. I think if I had got it in a smaller size then it would have been better but I never know what size I am supposed to be in shops. I range from a 16 to a 22 depending on where I shop and what I feel fits and suits me better. Sometimes I think its better to not even look at the size on the label and just buy something because you like it and because it fits. It is the best way to go about clothes shopping.

Floral Print Dress – Simply Be

I tried this dress on in store at the Simply Be store at Teesside Park and I loved it. I don’t think that it is formal enough for my Graduation but for summer dress it is really nice. I never wear dresses or skirts in the summer because my legs rub together when I walk so that has put me off for a long time. This dress makes me want to wear summer dresses again! Its so light and floaty, perfect for summer really but I think if I pair it with some leggings or some black tights then it could work as a wintery outfit as well. So it seems very versatile.

Multi Floral Print Ruched Sleeve Dress
Simply Be

This dress is so cute, the Jersey fabric makes it so comfortable and I had so much fun trying it on and twirling around. I wasn’t sure about this dress when I saw it online, I never really go for a dress with a waistband like this one but personally I think it really suits me. I was so surprised that I liked it and I think I will be trying more dresses like this in the future. My only issue is that being 5ft 11, everything is always to short and for my Graduation outfit I don’t think that a shorter length isnt appropriate. As a nice casual dress for the summer I don’t mind the length as much.

Green 3/4 Length Jumpsuit
– Simply Be

Now on to the outfit that I liked the least when I first up it on and now I’m in love with it. I just to show the right accessories can really make or break an outfit and for me just adding a thin brown belt at my waist changed my whole perception on this outfit. After some consideration I have decided that this is what I am going to wear for my Graduation. I just need to decided how I am going to accessorise it, on the website they have paired this jumpsuit with a black belt and black accessories. Which is something that I will consider when I am styling my outfit.

Superb Simply Be

I wanted my first post to be about something that I am really loving at the moment.

AX PARIS SLINKY BARDOT JUMPSUIT – £48 but on sale for £38.50.

I found this jumpsuit while on the hunt for a dress for my Graduation Ball at the end of May. I think I tried on every formal dress they had in Simply B, Teesside park. I ended up buying a dress that was, on paper, everything that I wanted. Navy, full length and very ball like but I wasn’t totally happy. I felt restricted and a little bit uncomfortable because it wasn’t something I was used to wearing.

The next day, I went on the hunt for another dress. Many dresses later I finally made a decision and chose the first thing that I had tried on the day before.

I need to say something about how helpful and friendly the staff were in Simply B at both locations. They seemed genuinely happy to help, which is refreshing and it makes me feel a lot more comfortable. It’s nice to have a changing room without horrid lighting, I have been to many clothes shops and their lighting is very harsh and I don’t think it flatters anyone. The cubicles and changing room as a whole was spacious with seating for mum and boyfriend. I was surprised that they allowed men into the changing room area but I think it’s a good thing.

Positives: for me this jumpsuit was one of the most comfortable outfits that I have bought. The fabric kept me cool all night, it glided over my skin hiding some lumps and bumps that I was conscious about. It made me feel dressed up, which is what I wanted for the ball but I felt free to move and dance.

Negatives: The only issue I have with this garment is that they suggest hand wash only. Which can be rather annoying.

10/10 – Would definitely recommend
